Laura Jeon is a piano soloist, collaborative pianist, teacher, and also a certified Andover Educator. She has studied Body Mapping and the Coordinate Movement Program for Pianists, which specializes in assisting injured pianists. She was a Teaching Assistant of the Coordinate Movement Program for Pianists and Body Mapping classes at Portland State University (OR).

She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Piano Performance from University of Rochester at Eastman School of Music (NY), her Master’s degree in Piano Performance from New England Conservatory (MA) and her Doctoral of Musical Arts Degree under the guidance of Dr. Robin McCabe and Theory Certificate under the guidance of Dr. Jonathan Bernard in University of Washington at School of Music. She was the recipient of many awards and honors including Howard Hanson Scholarship, George Eastman Scholarship, Piano Departmental Award (Carol Frank Clement), Highest Performance Award (Charles W. Kennett), New England Conservatory Merit Award, New England Conservatory Collaborative Piano Award, Mortar Board Scholarship, Johnson Memorial Scholarship, and Graduate Teaching Assistantship, and was chosen as Lead Teaching Assistant during her university studies.
