Jeanne Hansen

Jeanne has maintained her own piano studio for forty years. She has specialized in teaching at the preparatory level, pre-schoolers through high school students, as well as coaching piano teachers. Jeanne has adjudicated for the National Guild of Piano Teachers for thirty-five years and holds permanent professional certification through the Music Teachers National Association in both piano and music history.

She has taught the six-hour course “What Every Pianist Needs to Know About the Body” to high school students as well as amateur and professional pianists. Jeanne is available to teach the full course or shorter versions to pianists around the country. In addition to teaching the course, she is available for individual coaching and consultation sessions in regard to the benefits of Body Mapping for pianists.
