Dr. Kimberly Clark is the owner of MoveWell, teaching musicians how to avoid injury and promote facility through private lessons, masterclasses, seminars, and an online bookstore. Dr. Clark is a Licensed Body Mapping Educator and is working towards Alexander Technique Teacher Certification.
Dr. Clark is the Vice President of Floot Fire Inc. and serves as a director for Floot Fire camps in Houston, Plano, and Austin. Formerly on faculty at the University of Houston, Dr. Clark is highly sought after as a teacher and clinician. She has performed, lectured, and conducted at universities across the country, seven National Flute Association conventions, and TMEA. She has appeared as a featured guest artist at regional flute festivals in Florida, Texas, and Kentucky. Publications include articles in Flute Talk Magazine and the Flutist Quarterly.
A respected member of the National Flute Association Dr. Clark has served that organization as Piccolo Artist Competition coordinator, Flute Clubs Coordinator, and most recently as a member of the Board of Directors.
Dr. Clark is an active recitalist and chamber musician who has performed across the United States and in Europe. She is a member of Scirocco Winds (wind quintet), an NPO that provides educational concerts for student audiences in addition to its regular concert series.
Dr. Clark holds degrees from the San Francisco Conservatory and the University of Houston.
